SAP Master Data Quality Kit
Check material and equipment exports before correction, release preparation or migration. An editable local CSV checker, practical correction trackers and guides in English and German.
Inside the kit
Offline CSV checker
Open the tool in Edge or Chrome desktop. Check your approved exports locally, with no account, installation or network upload. Editable JavaScript source and an optional Node.js runner included.
33 project rules
18 material and 15 equipment rules, plus identity validation. Required fields, reference lists, duplicate keys, conditional requirements, dates and numeric ranges. Global material attributes are compared across plant rows.
Correction and evidence
Export all findings to a correction CSV and retain the JSON audit with the profile, rule coverage, approvals and available input hashes. Possible duplicate candidates remain subject to human review.
Bilingual project files
One Excel correction tracker and two five-page Word guides per language. Clean and faulty CSV examples, seven reference examples, editable profiles and a local verification suite.

Objects and project scope
- Materials: one record per material and plant, with global type and base-unit consistency checks.
- Equipment: one record per equipment identity at an agreed effective date, with planning-plant and planner-group reference checks.
Use for ongoing data-quality work and transitions involving ECC, S/4HANA or other SAP systems. Customers provide approved canonical UTF-8 exports, mappings, rule profiles, reference lists and independent expected counts. Starter rules must be adapted and approved for your project.
The tool does not extract from SAP, post changes or perform automatic cleansing. Its result covers the configured rules and supplied population. Possible duplicate groups use exact normalized text, not fuzzy matching.
Requirements and capacity
Current Edge or Chrome desktop for the browser tool. Excel desktop 2019+ with automatic calculation for the optional trackers; Node.js 20+ for the optional command line runner.
Up to 50,000 records and 10 MB per input or reference file, 100 rules per profile and 200,000 findings per run. The correction tracker holds 500 findings per workbook. Larger populations need controlled partitioning with separate global duplicate and consistency checks.
